Frequently Asked Questions...
how to connect my USB/VGA Output Laptop to my HDMI/S-Video Input TV?
Does anyone know how to connect my laptop to my tv?
My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1501, and my TV is a 65' HDMI TV.
Can I used a VGA to S-video Cord? How much do they cost and will it be clear enough to watch a Divx Movie? Thanks In advance and Happy Christmas!
Answer:
Most HDMI input TVs will also have a RGB/VGA port.
Use a VGA-VGA cable to connect the laptop to the 65" TV with both devices turned off.
Make sure that the laptop's video display is set to something equal to or less than the maximum resolution of the TV. Set the TV input to RGB/VGA and turn on the TV before the laptop.
